Who we are
GUMA Factory is a company dedicated to the research, development and production of rubber compounds for the production and sale of slabs and soles for outdoor and indoor environments, focused on climbing. We are an Italian company, with our production in Piedmont region, as we believe in a short supply chain.
Our goal is to create products that meet the needs of sports enthusiasts, while reducing the environmental impact through the use of sustainable raw materials and the recycling of materials.
Ethics

We want to help create a more sustainable future for the rubber industry by reducing environmental impact and promoting ethical and responsible practices throughout the supply chain. We adopt eco-friendly practices: we use recycled and recyclable materials whenever possible. We work with nongovernmental bodies to ensure that our natural rubber comes from sustainable plantations and that workers receive fair and decent working conditions.

We believe in our community and in the spirit of sharing. Knowledge and awareness
are paramount in protecting our local climbing spaces for future generations
and for these reasons we pledge to donate between 2 and 3% of the proceeds in activities
of preservation and maintenance of climbing areas, such as re-bolting and secure cliffs,
clean up boulder areas and arrange access paths.

Our products
In a climbing shoe rubber, the most important feature is the grip. The sole must
deform to replicate the micro roughness of the surface, creating a joint that allows
you to apply force without slipping. The compound must therefore mainly ensure
this property in all conditions.
